We have requirements for a Quality Co-Ordinator in the Manawatū area.

**About the role**:
Assist and lead the Quality Control requirements of the Salad Processing Plant to ensure that all products produced meet the regulatory requirements for RTE Salad Products.
- Conduct product, process testing and assessment to ensure all product and processes meet CCP standards set in the Food Control Plan.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality inspection results daily.
- Assist with problem solving -root cause analysis -corrective actions
- Supporting process improvements throughout the testing and quality assurance processes.
- Ensure incoming materials are in compliance to required specifications
- Ensure outgoing products are in compliance with required specifications and regulations
- Ensure production personnel are following proper procedure for ongoing production.
- Assist with the Internal Auditing Program
- Assist with External audits, including MPI
- Review, process and approve deviations, non-conforming product and corrective actions
- Assist with the maintenance of the Food control Plan
- Train others in quality systems and documentation, at shop floor level

**What you will need to have**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Food Science, Food Technology or equivalent.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Have a can-do attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Applications.
- Great attention to detail.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule (early morning, later afternoon or weekend work) based on task and program demands.
- Health and safety focused.
- Experience in the food industry would be an advantage.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Will be required to have a clean Ministry of Justice background check.
