**About the role**:
Our client is on the lookout for a dynamic data technician to become an integral part of their rapidly expanding team at a new branch located in Central Otago. In this role, you will engage in a diverse range of tasks, seamlessly blending maintenance and installations within a collaborative and innovative work environment. This presents a valuable chance for a skilled technician seeking to progress to the next level in your career.

**The role involves**:

- Executing skilled technician work in the service/repair, alterations, installing and maintaining all call services and other related systems
- Performing skilled structured cabling installation work on a new build
- Combining service and maintenance work and project/construction work
- Problem solving, time management and excellent communication
- Travel throughout the region and some on-call work will be required
- A standard 44-hour week, Monday to Friday with the occasional requirement for overtime

**Your skills and experience**:

- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in Nurse Call, data, CCTV and access control or alarms
- Experience working on large scale construction sites, capable of reading construction plans and wiring diagrams
- Experience using hand tools and battery drills
- Must enjoy being around people, particularly the elderly and offer a warm and approachable nature
- Full NZ driver license and clean police record
