- ** Your Role **:Working alongside a tight-knit team of 3 people within the wider Road Logistics Department, you will be responsible for coordinating the timely dispatch of freight for one of our key clients, whilst working closely with key stakeholders both internally and externally. Please note: This is an office based job and majority of your time will be spent in the office environment. - ** Your Responsibilities**:

- Respond to the customer needs by ensuring ongoing and consistent customer service satisfaction
- Timely completion of transport dispatch and cartage documents
- Prompt response to all customer queries that are delivery and transport related
- To maintain accurate and timely records and data within the Systems to enable effect and efficient reporting
- Accurate monitoring of consignment movements and follow up
- Maintaining excellent relationships with other internal departments and service providers.

**Your Skills and Experiences**:

- An enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to learn
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- A sense of initiative and drive to follow tasks through to completion
- An interest in learning and developing a career in logistics. Any prior experience is advantageous, however we are willing to invest and train someone new, with the right attitude
- Proven experience dealing with customers
- Successful history juggling competing priorities and meeting multiple tight deadlines
- High attention to detail, strong verbal communication skills and a good understanding of operating procedures
- Effective time management with the ability to meet strict deadlines, to prioritize and problem solve

You will have excellent communication and client relationship skills, with both internal and external bodies. You will have a “can do” work ethic and the ability to work under pressure and within a team environment. You are a fast learner, with an aptitude for picking up new computer systems quickly. Your attention to detail will be high, with an emphasis on quality. You will be keen to learn and pick up new skills and have a genuine interest in developing a career in the freight forwarding industry.
