**Van Driver/Storeperson**

**Permanent Part
- Time (20 hours/ week) - Palmerston North**

**About the role - Kōrero mō te tūranga**

In this role you will:

- Complete the daily drivers' run sheet in a professional and timely manner.
- Collect all donated goods and deliver them to shops, adhering to the guidelines on quality.
- Provide great customer service.
- Ensure the timely delivery of stock for all shops, as required.
- Assist with maintenance of stock levels this includes liaising with the shop Manager or Delivery Scheduler, for the timely delivery of stock.
- Check the vehicle you are driving is compliant and road worthy.
- Keeping NZRC informed of any issues promptly.
- Following NZRC heath safety and wellbeing guidelines.
- Assist with work in the shops as required.

**Who are we looking for? - Mā‎ wai te mahi nei?**

To be successful you will have:

- Hold a full, clean New Zealand driver's license.
- Experience with driving: a background in driving as a courier, truck driver, buses or similar would be helpful.
- Experience in building or repair/maintenance work.
- Good physical strength - there will be heavy lifting involved in this role.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Good time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Are able to mix and work with a wide range of people.
