Transport Despatcher

We are looking for the next dispatch superstar to join our team in Auckland
This role will be full-time based in our Onehunga office, Auckland and will involve:
Administration Duties (including but not limited to)
- Be prompt in answering phones and customers calls
- Take enquiries from customers and process these promptly
- Ensure customers contact details and requirements are recorded neatly
- Call customers back when required, in a prompt manner
- Enter jobs into the companys dispatch software
- Site visits for jobs
Manage drivers
- Ensure drivers complete timesheets in accordance with the companies Key On / Key Off policy
- Ensure divers accurately complete daily maintenance checks
- Ensure drivers secure all loads in accordance with safe loading and unloading procedures
- Ensure drivers have checked their vehicle for roadworthiness before work
- Ensure all deliveries are on time, undamaged and according to client instructions
- Ensuring all documentation is accurate and in compliance with customer requirements
Health and safety:
- Adhere to client health and safety policies
- Wear all such personal protective equipment as required by the company and its clients as advised from time to time
