**The Faculty of Business & Economics**

All academics within the Business School are based in disciplinary areas that form part of larger academic departments, you will have responsibility for delivering high quality, relevant and impactful learning experiences that maximise employment outcomes for graduates. Your understanding of academic and business environments and engagement in co-curricular activities relating to business, will help deliver wider economic benefits. The disciplinary areas are intended to provide a supportive and collegial environment for all researchers and in particular to ensure focused mentoring for early and mid career researchers.
**Job Description**:
**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**
We are looking for a Senior Lecturer in Leadership to join the Department of Management and International Business. This position will also include exciting opportunities for involvement in leadership programmes.
This is a **full-time** (40 hours per week), **permanent** opportunity.
The remuneration is $116,108 - $133,386 per annum, dependent on experience.

The Department of Management and International Business (MIB) is the leading department in its fields in New Zealand and has an international reputation for scholarship. It brings together theory and research surrounding management, international business, strategy, leadership, human resource management, innovation and entrepreneurship, and Māori enterprise.

You are an energetic, can-do person with post-graduate business qualifications.
- A PhD in Business, preferably a Masters or equivalent research record.
- Teaching experience at undergraduate and/or post-graduate level.
- Academic and/or practical experience of relevant areas of business.
- The potential to attract and supervise masters and doctoral students
- Demonstrable commitment to quality teaching and improving student outcomes and experience
