**Programme Director (Eastern Busway Interface Manager)**

This role will provide leadership and direction to the Eastern Busway project, driving the delivery of transformational public transport, cycling and walking connections within east Auckland.

You will represent AT on the management team of an integrated design and construction Alliance already up and running, as well as 'on the ground' within the project team. You will drive key decisions, seek strong collaborative outcomes and ensure excellence in communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities including leading project governance and reporting under ATs delegation framework, and relationship management throughout the planning, consenting and construction phases of this exciting project.

This is a career defining opportunity to lead AT's flagship public transport project.

**The role**:

- You will be joining the AT Strategic Programmes team working alongside other experienced Programme Directors helping to transform programme delivery at AT.
- This role will work within the Alliance joining the Alliance Leadership Team to set Alliance direction, monitor delivery performance, mitigate risks, and resolve issues.
- Lead and guide the AT interface team, including project management, controls, technical, commercial and procurement specialists.
- Be the 'face' of the Eastern Busway Project internally within AT and externally, engaging with elected members and media to discuss project delivery progress and new developments.
- Represent the project at an AT Executive and Board level.
- Working proactively and collaboratively to solve problems, mitigate risks and maintain project delivery momentum.
- Oversee and lead programme reporting and assurance including financial performance and forecasts, programme, risks, and reputation.
- Being a strong champion for achieving transformational project outcomes.

**What are we looking for?**
- 10+ years' post graduate experience in infrastructure delivery or related area and specific experience with large, transformational projects.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership role.
- Experience reporting to Board level and interfacing with executive management, stakeholders, politicians and funding partners at a strategic level.
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent in Engineering, Planning or similar discipline
