The Partnerships and Harm Prevention Team supports implementation of cross-agency work programmes aimed at combating organised crime and building community resilience. The purpose of this team is to leverage our partnership and prevention opportunities across the system in order to make New Zealand the hardest place in the world for organised criminals to do business.
As a Senior Advisor, you will be responsible for the delivery Resilience to Organised Crime in Communities (ROCC) work programme: a multi-agency approach supporting locally led responses to organised crime. The ROCC work programme combines a community resilience prevention approach with targeted enforcement to simultaneously address the harms and drivers of organised crime. Central to the approach is engaging with partners, iwi, and communities to co-design responses.
**Key Accountabilities**:
Present complex issues (written or verbal) clearly to a range of audiences, including delivering presentations
Effectively engage and build relationships with stakeholders, both public and private
Manage competing demands and high workload at times
Lead and support delivery of plans, projects, or initiatives
Identify barriers to success, generate solutions and make decisions
