**What we're looking for**:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced water quality technician for a permanent position in our Hamilton office. The position will mainly provide technical support for research and consultancy work focused on water quality and pollution control related to wastewater and effluent discharges, diffuse pollution and the development of natural treatment systems and mitigation measures involving algae ponds and flow-ways, constructed wetlands, riparian buffers and bioreactors.

**What you will bring**:

- You will need to have a qualification in an environmental science or a related field and several years' relevant experience working in an environmental or science role.
- Previous laboratory experience and confidence using a range of water flow and water quality instrumentation would be an advantage.
- You will need to be able to work flexible hours and occasionally undertake fieldwork lasting several days away from Hamilton.
