We have an opportunity for a Quality Control Technician in our Emergency Vehicles Division working on the fit-out of New Zealand Police vehicles along with a wide variety of other emergency and fleet vehicles.

Reporting to the Production Line Team Leader, you will be working within a close-knit team in a production line set up, ensuring high quality workmanship of vehicle fit-outs.

What will you do?

  • Maintaining a high standard of Quality vehicles within the Emergency Vehicles Division
  • Assembling and fitting various bespoke parts and components to vehicles
  • Working within the team to ensure production targets are achieved
  • Contributing to the continual improvement of the design of products and vehicles as well as the productivity of the team around you.

What do you need?

  • High attention to detail
  • Some experience with electrical components would be an advantage
  • Basic computer skills
  • Sound technical skills with an outstanding work ethic
  • Strong organisational, problemsolving, and communication skills
  • Class 1 full, clean driver's license.
