**About the role**
We're looking for a Casual Cook to join our awesome team at Merviale Retirement Village supporting with meal prep, service, cooking and any other duties within our modern Village and Care Home kitchens. These roles are ideal if you are looking to earn want some extra money without the permanent hours or want to have a go at a different role earning while you learn This could be great for someone located or easily accessible to the area by car or public transport. The normal working hours are 7am to 5:30pm (no late nights).

Some of the great things you will be doing:

- Creating hearty, quality home cooking for a restaurant environment
- Whipping up delicious offerings
- Ensuring excellent food quality is maintained and consistent portion size and presentation are right or our residents

**About you**
- Commercial kitchen experience
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Food industry qualification preferable
- Excellent food hygiene practices and personal presentation
