We are seeking an experienced and qualified accountant to join the team as a **Senior Finance Business Partner**. The team is part of Financial & Business Performance under the Chief Finance Office, reporting to the Finance & Performance Manger for Regulatory Services Division.This role is a key role **supporting General Managers** and their lead teams across a portfolio of the business with **financial reporting, financial systems, analysis and advice**.

**He kōrero mōu: About you**
- **Be a qualified accountant**:

- Have **at least five years of relevant finance experience**:

- Be a** **proficient user** **of** Power BI, SAP and MS Excel**:

- Previous experience with **preparing month-end financial results, forecasts and annual budgets**:

- Demonstrable experience as a business partner **with business partnering at an expert level**:

- Have **impeccable communication skills** including the **ability to influence and** **build strong relationships**:

- Be able to provide** accurate commercial insights to senior leaders**:

- You'll have **previous experience working in a complex and diverse environment**:

- **Experience in project management is desirable**:

- **Knowledge of the local government environment would also be highly advantageous**
