- What you'll do
The Urban Planning and Design group provides strategic leadership on urban planning, provides best practice urban design and planning advice, leads the management of Kāinga Ora large scale strategic partnerships and works closely with place based groups, iwi, local and central government agencies and the private sector to facilitate urban development opportunities.

- What you'll need
To be successful in this role the Senior Landscape Architect will have:

- An undergraduate qualification in Landscape Architecture
- At least 10 years' experience working as a Landscape Architect, with experience in a range of public and private contexts
- Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi partnership obligations under the Treaty of Waitangi
- Experience in collaborative community and cultural stakeholder engagement
- Experience in the preparation of design reports, including the preparation of graphic material, with strong technical drawing skills
- Experience working successfully with a variety of stakeholders including mana whenua, community, developers, local government agencies, design consultants etc.
