- Newly created strategic role, direct report to CEO
- Focus on partnerships and engagement to create system shifts

If you are committed to making real change for Aotearoa, Te Puna Aonui might be the place for you.

Mō mātou | About Us
Te Puna Aonui is a small unit, with a big role. Established as an Interdepartmental Executive Board (IEB) our mandate is to ensure there is clear, joint accountability across government for work relating to the elimination of family violence and sexual violence. As the centre of expertise that stewards the Family Violence and Sexual Violence System and the system strategy Te Aorerekura, we work in partnership with the communities we serve and always hold survivors, family, and whānau at the centre of everything we do.

Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role
You will lead the Enabling Transformation Group which leads the local, regional and national enablement of Te Aorerekura, ensuring our mahi is whānau centred, and led by iwi and community.
This team is focussed on transformational change; through the development and implementation of the standards and capability frameworks that in turn build the supportive infrastructure to prevent harm, safely respond, heal and enable wellbeing.
A key part of this role and Group is developing and nurturing the Partnering and Engagement Strategy, driving engagement and the delivery of effective solutions as well as support to the communities we serve. Your Group is also the system lead for gaining meaningful data, insights and building an evidence base to mobilise knowledge to inform better decisions, interventions and learning within Te Puna Aonui and across the wider system.
As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you also have a shared responsibility for ensuring Te Puna Aonui is a well-run unit, with a great culture, that delivers effectively on its role.

Ko wai koe | About you
You have held senior roles in the wider public system where you have been charged with engagement, transformation and change at a system level. You are a confident and effective influencer and can manoeuvre effectively even where there is real ambiguity. Partnerships are in your DNA. You have the intellectual, strategic and emotional smarts to create meaningful shifts across our system. A sound understanding of central government processes is a must, along with a visible commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Me pēhea te tuku tono | How to apply
Applications close at 5pm on Sunday the 28th of May.
