'Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity As a Revenue and Refunds Officer you'll be assisting with a wide variety of financial activities in the Revenue & Refunds team. Your focus will be on ensuring the timely and accurate recognition of revenues collected, facilitation of payments to stakeholders, and supporting the resolution of customer transaction exceptions. This is a role for someone who is not only great with numbers, but also enjoys working with others as you will support both external and internal customers throughout Waka Kotahi/NZTA. The role involves process improvement, understanding the financial implications of transactions, and investigating and rectifying transactions that have been have either been processed in error, or where the transaction has failed. We work on a fortnightly flexible working roster where we have some set days in office to ensure we connect as a team, and then once you're up to speed you'll also enjoy some working from homes days. We'll supply you with a great "Working From Home Pack" which includes all the tech you'll need when away from the office. View the position description. Ko koe tēnei | About you If you've picked up the following skills during your studies, or already have some practical work experience in finance, we'd love to hear from you:

- Financial qualification (or working towards), or experience in financial transactions and general ledger processing, banking and reconciliations.
- Ability to analyse financial information and make decisions based on this analysis.
- Ability to reconcile general ledger accounts and rectify any variances
- Great attention to detail and thoroughness of processing and recording
- Ability to problem solve, manage your workload and meet deadlines
- Some customer service experience, and a great phone manner
