Create an impact as a** **Policy Governance Analyst.**
**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**
The Analyst, Policy Governance role is within the Technology and Operations (T&O) division that creates value through the deployment of resilient and innovative technology and data solutions, and delivery of shared enterprise services at scale. Within T&O, the role is part of the Partnering, Quality & Integration (PIQ) business unit, which strives to uplift quality across the IAG group.
The purpose of the role and your unique contribution is to support the Policy and Standards team in ensuring that the frameworks, policies and standards owned within T&O are current and fit for purpose, and that there is broad-based compliance across the enterprise.
With a focus on data governance and effective technology risk management, you will assist the Specialist, Policies and Standards in monitoring the external environment for emerging regulatory or legislative changes, and the internal environment for compliance with T&O frameworks, policies and standards.
This position is a **permanent**, full-time opportunity and is based in **Auckland**.
**Ōu Pūkenga | About You**
- Experience in policy setting or adjacent roles, ideally within the financial services industry.
- Exposure to relevant technology and data related legislation and regulation.
- Exposure to technology and data risk.
- Strong outcome orientation coupled with good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Tertiary qualifications in a legal discipline or relevant field (e.g., data, technology, or risk).
