**Job Description**:
We have a rare opening within our Global Forwarding business for a Client Relationship Manager to join the team in our Mangere office. This is an opportunity that will instantly connect you to our global network. As the CRM you will take the lead in providing Freight Forwarding solutions for our key customers ensuring safe and efficient delivery of their products.
Some of your duties could include;
- Developing and maintaining effective and professional customer relationships
- Supporting account management and transaction processing
- Provide product and technical support as it relates to customer transactions, customer feedback and other requests
- Retention and growth of customer portfolio both domestic and global
- Liaise with internal and external customer / stakeholders to ensure contractual obligations are achieved and agreed service standards are met
- Lead the financial ownership of the clients through ongoing reviews of the weekly finance reports
- Support, encourage and drive client services & operational teams to deliver value to all stakeholders
- Review KPIs & provide positive, constructive feedback internally & to the client
**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5 years’ experience within Freight Forwarding (ideally within a similar role)
- Demonstrable experience in customer retention and growth
- Proven ability to partner with customers in identification and implementation of supply chain solutions
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft systems (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Experience working with and managing major importers
- Clear business acumen and a commercial focus to reduce costs and increase profitaility in the team
