Medical Laboratory Scientist - Microbiology/Biochemistry
- Part time permanent role - 64 hours per fortnight (0.8 FTE)

Te Whatu Ora, Waitematā District is committed to providing best care for everyone with continuing excellence in healthcare.
The laboratory operates a 24/7 service across both North Shore Hospital and Waitakere Hospital.
We are looking for a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our Microbiology/Biochemistry department.
Experience in Molecular or Immunology would be an advantage.
New graduates with both Microbiology and Biochemistry placement experience would be considered.

You will need to be a team player, well organised and able to manage the demands of competing priorities in a busy hospital laboratory environment.

**The applicant must have**:

- A current annual practising certificate and current registration with the New Zealand Medical Sciences Council or eligibility to register with the Council, or be a NZ Medical Laboratory Scientist new graduate.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A positive and flexible approach to shift work.
