**The Company**

My client is a privately held NZ business that has been operating since 1947. With a proud history, this business has scale with significant operations across Australia and NZ. The business employs in excess of 600 staff and is well regarded in their space. The business is customer focused with solutions that really benefit it's end customers. The finance team is circa 20 people and an opportunity has arisen to join the Payroll team on a contract basis with the potential to go permanent.

**The Role**

Reporting into the Payroll Manager the role of the payroll officer is to assist with the full function of processing across Australia and NZ payroll for circa 600 staff on a weekly and monthly basis. Due to the nature of the business there are collectives in place around Union Labour so thorough understanding of legislation is essential.

**Your profile**:
You will have experience working in a Medium sized business where you have processed end-to-end Payroll, ideally having worked with different systems and T&A's. This business is on Payglobal so exposure would be beneficial but not a must. You will have worked across different collectives and have a strong understanding of NZ legislation.

This is a great opportunity to get trained on and take ownership of Australian payroll, they are a down to earth culture and looking for a good team fit - it could go permanent for the right person.
