We are looking for a ‘Process Program Technologist’, this role encompasses the support, maintenance and improvement of various production programs, processes, and systems within our plant. As Program Technologist, you will lead the team of Production Cleaners, keep programs, such as validation, training and cleaning, up-to-date, suggest new solutions and assist with projects to enhance capability and efficiency. This is a permanent full-time position available working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. You will be part of our Auckland operations team, reporting to the Program & Projects Manager.

About you

Be part of a great team in manufacturing with high standards and protocols on Health and safety, contributing to our WISE health and safety program. Also, you will ensure compliance with Plant GMP standards and follow up on issues. Support continuous improvement and cleaning activities linked to the environmental management program.

Continually streamline existing processes to ensure efficiency. Contribute to achieving optimum performance and production OKRs. Develop new digital training SOPs and assessments to address changing operational requirements. Support growth and development opportunities to upskill staff.

Lead the cleaning team and support plant compliance with changing quality, safety, and environmental standards.

In continues improvement this role is key, to support efficient production processes by maintaining and improving procedures (SOPs) and using POKA (Learning management system). Provide recommendations regarding plant, procedure, and equipment improvements. Communicate effectively with operational staff to ensure they are aware of changing requirements. Stay up to date with industry best practices.

As team leader, communication is key to drive necessary improvements in the manufacturing environment. Promoting communication and standardization of work across shifts.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Food Science or similar.
- 3 years + experience in manufacturing or equivalent. Dairy or food manufacturing industry experience is an advantage.
- Exposure to different manufacturing systems.
- Content creator in Learning Management Systems like POKA or similar system would be advantageous.
- Hands on trainer experience plus Train the Trainer would be highly advantageous
