**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to take responsibility for our Inclusive Learning and English Language Enrichment services. This role will work with senior management (Manager - Learning and Teaching Development, and others) to develop and lead our strategy for services to these students.

The Learning and Teaching Development Team within Te Tumu Herenga offers a broad range of services to support the academic and information skills development of UoA students both face to face and online. This team also has a focus on supporting Māori & Pacific students, neurodiverse students, and students needing English language enrichment. The team works in partnership with other teams within Te Tumu Herenga and across the University to support the development of academic and information literacy skills within the curriculum.

We are looking for someone who can:

- Provide leadership for two priority services within a wider team.
- Deliver operational direction and offer strategic input when required.
- Form relationships with relevant University stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of academic and information literacy programmes and resources (both physical and online) particularly as part of our services for neurodiverse students and students with English as an additional language.
- Bring creative ideas to the work we do.
- Thrive in a busy and changeable environment.
- Collaborate with other teams within Te Tumu Herenga.

This is a full time, 37.5 hours per week, on a permanent basis. The salary range for this role is $92,100 - $100,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

**Qualifications**:
**He kōrero mōu | About you**
- Knowledge of the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
- Undergraduate degree, postgraduate degree preferred.
- Leadership and people management experience within a complex working environment.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in team building, change management and working collaboratively.
- Experience of developing and delivering relevant learning services for neurodiverse students.
- Knowledge of or a background in English language teaching, learning design, or teaching in a tertiary environment, would be an advantage.
- Demonstrated knowledge of learning and teaching theories and the ability to develop and implement innovative learning programmes and learning resources.
