ConsultANZ is looking for a Senior Estimator in Auckland to join our top-tier civil engineering client. As a leading company in New Zealand, our client has successfully been awarded projects ranging from small to large scale.

**Main Duties**
Your responsibilities are to:

- Coordinate subcontractor and material procurement processes, which includes reviewing and assessing quotations.
- Demonstrate proficiency in cost estimation, bill of quantities preparation, cost plan measurement, and contract administration.
- Familiar with the tendering process, ensure alignment between labour and equipment resources in the cost estimation.
- Provide accurate commercial advice to the management team.
- Compile and finalize commercial tenders for client submission.
- Prepare and deliver commercial handover documentation to the contract delivery team.
- Communicate between stakeholders, including clients and the commercial team.

**Requirements**:

- Has a Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or construction-related qualification.
- Experience in estimation software such as Candy CCS, CostX, and Excel.
- Previously estimated and won large-scale projects successfully by managing a team.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction costs.
- Excellent time management skills, capable of handling multiple tenders or a single high-value tender at the same time.
- Skilled in quantification and knowledgeable about standard measurement practices and contract forms.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to deliver information professionally and comprehensively to all stakeholders.
- Experienced in pricing civil projects such as roads, drainage, and structures.
