We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced banking professional to progress their career in an equally challenging yet exciting role, to support customers to achieve their goals as a Commercial Partner, based in Masterton.
We spoke with our Senior Partner in Manawatu, who let us know the following about the role:
**What does a day in the life of a Commercial Partner look like?**
- No day is the same and this variety is what makes the role so exciting.
- You will love Business Development activities such as attending industry events, connecting with existing customers and local professionals, as well as identifying and meeting potential new customers in market too.
- You could be meeting with customers in their business to understand how they operate and how we can support their goals or working in the office analysing financials and the information you have gathered to structure lending assessments.
- You'll learn and grow, working with a range of industry leading BNZ specialists to ensure the delivery of appropriate products and services to meet our customers' requirements.
**What is the team culture and environment like?**
You will be joining a collaborative and supportive team of experienced and high performing Commercial Partners, allowing you to share knowledge, learn from others and continually grow and develop.
It is a fast-paced environment, so if you enjoy being busy and working as part of a high performing team then you will thrive here
**What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity?**
It is a sought after, diverse role with plenty of scope for professional development, while helping the fast-growing Manawatu region to succeed.
- Being seen as a Trusted Advisor, by leading & maintaining strong customer and professional relationships.
- Being a well-rounded individual who is motivated to focus on business development.
**What attributes will this person have in order to be successful?**
We are looking for a self-motivated, ambitious team player who has a growth mindset and desire to contribute to a high performing team.
Ideally, you will also have a high level of commercial acumen, and either an already established professional network or proven ability to grow a network, to help serve our customers brilliantly
