The opportunity:
Within our approved Risk Management Framework, Internal Audit stands as the resilient 3rd line of defence. Tasked with independence, we meticulously evaluate, test, and report on the adequacy and efficacy of our management's internal control systems. Our mission is to provide invaluable insights and assessments to the board, senior management, and regulators.

As an integral member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in identifying key risks across our dynamic business landscape. Your responsibilities will span from assisting in crafting our annual audit plan to leading and executing audits and special projects. You'll provide expert advice to enhance our risk management capacity, spearhead discussions on remedial action plans, and ensure the timely issuance of audit reports.

Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with Group and local stakeholders to identify and address key risks throughout the audit lifecycle- Building and maintaining constructive relationships with stakeholders to facilitate the assessment of the local and groupwide internal control environment- Leading and executing audits and special projects with a risk-based view and delivering outputs according to audit methodology and engagement schedule- Providing professional insights to management to enable them to make informed decisions and strengthen risk management processes- Assisting in crafting comprehensive audit plans and schedules, ensuring effective and efficient execution of audits and reviews- Overseeing outstanding audit issues to ensure timely remediation by management or justify any extensions of target dates and maintain adequate documentation supporting issue closures- Coordinating with internal and external partners to optimise audit processes.

Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Minimum 6 years' experience in IT audit, or technology risk management- Strong understanding of risk management principles, couples with proficiency in IT principles and processes- Experience with data analytics tools such as ACL and visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI-
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, enabling effective interactions at all levels- Demonstrated strong stakeholder management skills- The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and deliver quality outputs- Strong negotiation, influencing and critical thinking abilities, while collaborating with the business to find value-adding solutions- A positive, collaborative attitude with excellent team-player qualities and high levels of integrity and ethics- Tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, Accounting, or Business and/or relevant certifications such as CIA, CA, CPA, CISSP, CISA, or CISM.
