**Activities Coordinator: Be at the Heart of Aged Care**

That’s why we are seeking an Activities Coordinator like you for our Bupa Foxbridge Care Home. This role is a permanent, full-time role, working a minimum of 32 hours per week.

If you are the type of person who enjoys having a variety of work and have prior experience in this field, along with an interest and understanding of the elderly and their needs, we would like to speak to you In this role, you will have a huge impact on the quality of life for our residents.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Manage activity plans for the 85 residents across rest home, hospital, and dementia level of care
- Plan, develop, and lead individualised activities care plans for each resident based on the activity assessment outcome, their interests, and preferences
- Ensure our valuable residents are treated with full respect, dignity, and cultural sensitivity
- Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to Bupa Health & Safety policies
- Maintain personal and professional development - we have on-site managers who always encourage our staff to up-skill

**What about you?**:

- A NZQA (or equivalent) Diversional Therapy (level 4) Certificate and previous experience are essential
- Demonstrate leadership skills with the ability to motivate others
- A creative flair to contribute towards a full and varied activities programme and help look after our residents while creating a caring atmosphere
- You are a caring, team player, vibrant, and energetic, with an active interest in organising activities for multiple levels of function and ability
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
