We sat down with our Chief Sustainability Officer, who let us know the following about the Senior Sustainability Advisor role:
**What are some day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?**
- Lead and support annual qualitative and quantitative reporting requirements for the BNZ sustainability report (to GRI standards), Climate Reporting, United Nations Principles for Responsible Banking Self-Assessment and BNZ contributions to the NAB sustainability report (working closely with the NAB reporting team).
- Project manage the delivery of substantive sustainability initiatives and reporting.
- Lead the interpretation and implementation of key legislative change across sustainability.
- Drive or support specific BNZ projects and initiatives with expert knowledge.
**What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role?**
- A problem solver and diverse thinker, who can work at pace on large, complex transformational change projects in an environment of uncertainty.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in managing, analysing, and reporting sustainability data sets & reporting processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, across the organisation.
