We currently have a vacancy for a full time clinical psychologist but will consider part-time for the right applicant.
The position would ideally suit a clinical psychologist with experience in the assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability and other common neurodevelopmental conditions. Proficiency in the administration and interpretation of psychometric instruments, in particular the WISC-V and the ADOS-2 would be an advantage. Excellent written communication skills are required as assessment report writing is a key part of the role.

You will be working in a multidisciplinary team within the Child Development Centre (CDC). The CDC provides multi-disciplinary assessment and intervention for tamariki aged 0 - 19 years with developmental disabilities. The psychologists within CDC carry out diagnostic assessments with children and young adolescents with developmental disabilities.

- Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Registration with the NZ Psychologists Board
- Hold a valid annual practicing certificate
- Hold a post graduate qualification in clinical, educational, child and adolescent or health psychology
- A full New Zealand licence and the ability to travel
