Joining the Meat team is the perfect opportunity to take on a prominent portfolio within the Merchandise department We’re a team who thrive on working collaboratively with our suppliers and store teams to drive strategies and reach our business goals to ensure we’re continuing to deliver on our purpose of making Kiwis lives better everyday by providing the best range, value and convenience for our customers.

**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga**
At the heart of this 12 month secondment role as a Category Manager, we focus on putting our customers, team and suppliers first whilst delivering great solutions around our Meat category strategies through procurement, promotions, price and placement - a challenging but rewarding role within our Meat department and one where you’ll really make a difference in the lives of our customers
From negotiating new contracts and sourcing new vendors to developing long-term plans, managing budgets and delivering exceptional category reviews, this is a role that will both challenge and excite you as we all help shape the future of our business.

**About You | Mōu**
If you have a passion for food and 3+ years of recent experience in a comparable buying and category role and want to continue to build your Category Management portfolio - this is the role for you You will also be comfortable at prioritising and identifying issues that come with short shelf life products early.
