**About the role**

We have an amazing opportunity for two Roving Category Assistants to join our Merchandise team. Here you’ll get to move around the wider team providing support as needed, work with different Category Managers, experience multiple different categories and work across our Retail Banners (PAK’n SAVE, New World and Four Square).

In additional to adhoc support, some of what you’ll be involved with include:

- Manage article creation process, confirming key information and gaining appropriate approvals then maintain data, updating and communicating product changes
- Assist in preparation and analysis of Category Review, Joint Business plan and Annual plans
- Respond to all relevant store queries
- Assist the Category Manager in high level marketing activity recommendations and competitor activity summaries
- Work with the Category Manager to manage the promotional process including; pricing, proofing, circular visual layout and post promotion analysis
- Maintain promotional annual plan with changes in product and price

**About You**

Ideally you’ll have category experience but most importantly, you’ll be comfortable with high levels of administration, you’ll be good with processes, be an analytical data whizz who is skilled in Excel with an eye for detail. You’ll be someone who is awesome with time management and able to prioritise a moving task list.

You’ll also have:

- Proven ability to be agile and pick things up quickly
- Impressive communication skills
- Confident with the ability to build strong and meaningful relationships internally and with our suppliers and internal teams
- Ability to manager your time and prioritise effectively
- The enthusiasm, drive and willingness to learn and develop
