Data & Reporting Analyst - Risk

**The purpose of your role**:
***To utilise the data held in Oracle and other relevant sources to develop reports and dashboards that assist decision making for Asset Risk - make those insights readily useful to asset risk analysts and other decision makers, improve tools for pricing and risk management - you will report to the Head of Risk**.**
**You'll be doing**:
**Vehicle maintenance data**:
- Building effective framework to analyse actual costs vs budget and identify emerging trends or deviations from the norm
- Present actual maintenance cost profiles for easy access by AR Analysts - at macro as well as model specific levels
- Review maintenance budget framework within Oracle pricing model
**Disposals data (retail sales, auction data and other sources)**:
- Develop tools to promptly identify changing market values for key models, and emerging trends at segment or market level
- Enhance the quarterly reviews - improve presentation to AMC while streamlining effort required to produce
- Critically review RV setting framework within Oracle pricing model
- Review previous forecasting modelling work and recommend next steps
**General**:
- Develop risk profile analysis
- Develop skillset or Asset Risk Analysts (use of Power BI etc)
- Improve productivity of AR Analysts by developing or enhancing tools to make relevant data insights readily available
- Support OMS team with data extract/new report requests that are asset based
- Risk projects as they arise
**To thrive in this role you'll have**:
- A tertiary qualification that demonstrates analytical ability
- Experience turning data from ERP level system (ideally Oracle or MS SQL Server)
- Skilled at presenting data visually to convey information
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and Power BI
- Advanced analytical skills - an eye for detail
- Ability to deliver under tight time frames
- A quest for continuous improvement
- An interest in motor vehicles
