We have an exciting opportunity for an Allied Health Assistant to come and join the Waikato District, working at Waikato Hospital

You will be joining our dedicated multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. You will need to have excellent communication and time management skills, be highly reliable and dependable. You will need a passion for working with people and enjoy working in a team environment.

**Key responsibilities of the role**:

- Supervising patients to go through their exercise programme as prescribed by a qualified Physiotherapist/Occupational Therapist
- Helping patients to regain their independence with activities of daily living following medical illness/surgery
- ordering of equipment such as walking aids and exercise equipment
- Perform administrative tasks
