**We're looking for a well-rounded Mixed Vet with at least 2 years of practical experience to join our progressive, veterinary practice as a locum for six weeks in June and July. Our practice employs 60 vets across 11 clinics. This role will be based in our Waihi clinic. Waihi is fully equipped with diagnostic, medical, and surgical facilities.**:
So, if you’re an enthusiastic and positive Veterinarian with great communication skills who is keen to make a difference to our clients, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll be part of a strong team of veterinarians, nurses, customer services, and techs, and will enjoy a busy environment that creates value for our clients and provides a high standard of care.

We are a mixed practice clinic, so an interest in both small animal and large animal work, and a willingness to be part of the afterhours roster worked between our Kopu, Paeroa, Waitakaruru and Waihi clinics would be an advantage. The caseload is mostly small animals (75%) with some farms (25%), mostly dairy with a small amount of dairy grazing, lifestyle, and sheep and beef.

In addition to a competitive salary and benefits, including a 4x4 double cab ute, you will receive ongoing mentoring and support from the wider Franklin Vets team.
