About the Role
We have an exciting role to join our Sustainability & Risk Partnership hapū as our Senior Compliance Officer. This role leads and manages our compliance work programme and ensures we meet our obligations through constant evaluation and monitoring of the programme. We work in an agile environment aiming to constantly deliver value.
This role reports into our Enterprise Risk & Resilience Lead and works collaboratively across the team, hapū and wider organisation.
About You
As the Senior Compliance Officer this role will enable you to hone your relationship management skills, interact with a wide range of talented people across our organisation and play a pivotal role in shaping up how we meet our compliance requirements at Callaghan Innovation.
What are we looking for?
- An experienced compliance professional with at least 5 years' experience in a compliance focussed role
- A strong understanding of and familiarity with the Lines of Defence operating model
- Previous experience in an agile environment is beneficial
- Systems and agile thinker
- Exceptional planning skills with a future focussed lens to ensure we get our frameworks right and support the business
- Excellent relationship management skills with a proven ability to build relationships across the wider business at all levels
- A collaborative approach to delivering the best solutions
- A strength in collating, interpreting information to create meaningful information for our key stakeholders
