Our Line 2 Compliance team play a leading role in driving great customer outcomes and delivering sustainable compliance across prudential, conduct and wider obligations management including regulatory change. We do this by designing, implementing, and reviewing compliance processes, capabilities and strategies and supporting our Line 1 teams to deliver a consistent approach across ASB

**Te tūranga | The role**:
Key outcomes you are responsible for are as follows:

- Helping the business to understand their obligations and what is needed to achieve compliance
- Drive implementation of legislative changes to Line 1 and impacted divisions
- Manage the pipeline of regulatory change and other systems used to monitor implementation
- Challenging the adequacy of processes and controls identified by the business to mitigate compliance
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with risk and compliance teams and other key stakeholders
- Deliver any other initiatives as required to support the Regulatory Change Team and wider Line 2 Compliance team

- Strong knowledge of operational and compliance risk management and financial services regulation
- Ability to interpret legislation and explain its relevance and impact to business
- Strong compliance and regulatory change experience most likely gained through large organisations
- Strong planning and organisational skills; ability to multi-task is essential
- Sound skills in problem solving, analytics and process knowledge/mapping
- Effective communication skills; ability to provide clear & concise reporting
- Tertiary qualifications preferably in a commercial, legal or risk discipline
