**Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor (Christchurch)**
- Support the development and delivery of Cost Advisory and Quantity Surveying consultancy services across significant and diverse infrastructure, community, and city related projects

**Te kāinga rua | The opportunity**

Build your Cost Management and Quantity Surveying consulting career as part of the Project Strategy and Delivery team based in the Beca Christchurch office. You will be working on a diverse range of client projects in the city and surrounding regions, with the opportunity to significantly develop your cost advisory / quantity surveying career such as your technical, project delivery and consulting skill abilities. The Beca Southern region and team based in the Christchurch office work closely with our other Beca offices enabling you to be part of, and learn from, a broad team.

You will be part of a growing, diverse team of cost managers and project managers. You will be delivering cost consulting services across some of the largest growth projects throughout the Southern region, for transport and infrastructure, defence, water, education and community development projects.

Aligned with the level of the role, we envision that the base salary component will be in the region of NZ$90,000 - NZ$135,000, depending on skills and experience. The role is full time and permanent, with minimum guaranteed hours of 40 a week.

**Te rongoā | About you**

In this role, you will have plenty of scope for success and we are looking for a high performing professional with a real passion for cost management, who understands logical costing methods as well as having a client first focus. You will enjoy working in a team, be able to work autonomously and are passionate about learning, thinking laterally and delivering. You will have the ability to connect with others (both team members and external clients) and be able to describe complex methods and concepts in simple terms. You will enjoy building relationships and understand project delivery requirements, as well as displaying commercial judgement.

While the role covers a variety of sectors, you will have a minimum of two years’ experience and a relevant New Zealand or overseas qualification, or sufficient work experience.

Ultimately this is a key role to strengthen our Southern Cost Advisory and Project Strategy & Delivery business.
