You will be interpreting immigration legislation, and utilising your proven analysis, judgement and decision-making abilities to make quality immigration decisions. This is a fast paced, high-volume environment, and your strengths will lie in your ability to keep pace while prioritising your workload.

**We have several vacancies within our 2 Auckland branches**:

- Manukau - located in the heart of Manukau City, next door to the bus depot, train station, and shopping centre.
- Henderson - plenty of free parking options, close to West City Mall and away from the hustle and bustle of the central city.

Once fully trained we have a range of Flexible Working Arrangements within MBIE:

- Work your hours in 9 days over two weeks which will allow you to enjoy a weekday off every fortnight.
- Work your hours in 4 working days and have a 4-day work week.
- We provide you the equipment you need to allow you work at home - but note there will still be a requirement to work in the office a few days a week.
- The office opens at 6am and closes at 6pm. You can start work any time between 6am and 9:30am, work your hours and go home for the day. There is no requirement to start at the same time every day - great for those that need to drop-off/pick-up kids

Ngā pukenga me ngā wheako e hiahiatia ana - Skills and experience required:

- Recent experience in a high-performance service delivery environment; including caseload management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven expertise conveying concepts, and information clearly and concisely to any variable audience
- Experience in an administration/processing environment
- Effective time management with the ability prioritise workflow demands and case loads
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and able to adapt to change on short notice
- A strong moral compass, sound decision making and be known to ‘act with integrity' in all you undertake
- A relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous but not essential
- The motivation and willingness to make a positive difference as a proactive team member
- Proficiency in an Asian language/s, such as Mandarin Chinese, would be advantageous but not essential
