Class 2 Truck Drivers

This role will be a minimum of 30 - 40 hours per week with a pay rate of $29 - $30 per hour. Days of work will be rostered Monday to Sunday 6am-6.30pm.
Reporting directly to the Orchard Manager you will be responsible for:
- In peak season you will be responsible for collecting picked fruit bins from our various orchard around Auckland area and transporting them to multiple packhouses (punchbowl, eastpack, Apacj)
- The driver will be responsible for picking and collecting of kiwifruit plants from our nursery and delivering it to the clients
- Responsible for moving heavy machinery like diggers, hammer post tractor to our development sites.
- Ancillary duties including loading and unloading of any goods
- Ensuring vehicle is kept in a clean and tidy condition and carrying out minor maintenance tasks as required
- Attending to the usual reporting procedures associated with driving
To be considered for this role you must:
- Have reliable transport or be planning to relocate before starting the role
- No experience necessary but must hold a class 2 drivers licence and be keen to learn.
- Have great time management skills while still completing the tasks to a high standard
- Able to work across all three regions for work with a week's notice.
- Be flexible with working hours due to seasonal demand
