**What will you do?**

We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to provide legal support to Ryman Healthcare Limited and its leaders and team members.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Providing legal advice to Ryman on a range of matters including corporate/commercial issues and Retirement Villages issues
- Managing the legal precedent database including management of the RFP/RFI documentation and related documentation.
- Assist in preparation and drafting legal documents, including contracts and agreements, letters, correspondence
- Assist in negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers and customers, resolving issues, and responding to queries.
- Assist with internal legal and regulatory compliance (including listed company compliance matters, investor relations, and reporting)
- Working collaboratively with the Senior Executive Team and other executive support team members.

**Who are you?**

You will possess excellent communication skills and a clear passion for safety. You are reliable, self-motivated and enjoy managing a busy workload.

In addition, you will have:

- A Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) and a NZ Practicing Certificate or the ability to obtain one
- 7+ years PQE with relevant experience gained in a reputable law firm and/or in-house legal role
