**The Opportunity**:
Are you passionate about promoting Health, Safety, and Environmental excellence? We're excited to find a dedicated **HSE Manager** who will lead the implementation of safety and environmental systems across Komatsu New Zealand operations.

As a valued member of the NZ Leadership Team, you'll have the opportunity to mentor, guide, and collaborate with employees at all levels, ensuring they understand and follow safety protocols and best practices. Your expertise will shape the development of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001-certified HSE management systems, while overseeing health and wellbeing initiatives, incident investigations, and compliance audits.

**What we are looking for**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in workplace health, safety, and environment
- Tertiary qualification preferred in HSE
- Lead Auditor qualifications desired in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
- High knowledge level in ACC and Rehabilitation claims management
- Expertise in system management: Able to control, administer, and maintain Safety Management & Environmental Management systems following ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards
- Trained Lead Incident Investigator proficient in the ICAM process, with a minimum of 3 years' experience
- Strong organisational skills: Capable of meeting deadlines effectively
- Exceptional customer service: Demonstrates high levels of internal and external satisfaction
- Effective communication: Can communicate proficiently with users at all levels, both in writing and verbally
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite: High level of expertise in using Microsoft computer programs
