As our Naval Architect you will provide Naval Architecture design services to commercial projects and to Naval related tasks within the Babcock/RNZN engineering group. You will use your expertise and knowledge to ensure projects are undertaken in accordance with contract scope and budget as well as managing assigned projects to ensure delivery of required engineering outputs.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Provide Naval Architecture support within the engineering group
- Demonstrate leadership and management skills
- Provide Input and Management of Naval Architecture projects/outputs
- Ensure Professional output and Quality Control
- Maintain effective client relationships both internal and external
- Identify new business opportunities
- Health, safety and environmental (HSE) compliance in the workplace

**About you**

You hold a Naval Architecture Degree or an equivalent and desirably have qualifications within Project Management. You hold Chartered Professional Engineer Status and have a minimum of 3 years in the Marine sector.

Your knowledge of naval architecture disciplines, classification regulations and marine engineering sees you in steadfast position to own this role and be the SME.

You have a strong customer focus and are driven by a culture of mutual respect and collaboration.
