We are currently on the lookout for an exceptional person to join our team as the Value Outcome Office Manager. You will lead a team and be responsible for overseeing value delivery by maintaining transparency through reporting and serving as a reliable source of information on portfolio benefits, costs, risks, and progress. You will oversee effective portfolio governance and offer valuable insights and ad hoc analysis on portfolio performance. Your role will also focus on instilling a customer-centric mindset, enhancing agility, and driving consistent delivery through Lean-Agile leadership practices and capability development.

**Your key areas of focus will include**:

- In partnership with the value outcome owners, facilitate decision making regarding priorities, trade-offs, including proposing scenarios and detailed analysis for decisions when competing priorities exist, capability to execute use of value-based prioritisation framework.
- Capture enterprise goals (OKRs) that provide traceability through the organization and are mapped to metrics that provide ongoing governance.
- Provide visibility and transparency on portfolio financials, collaborate with key stakeholders to maintain the portfolio in-line with budgets.
- Provide direct input into the governance cycle that supports the achievement of key goals, planning and execution of business value.
- Exhibit Lean-Agile Leadership practices, acting as a source of knowledge development, execution and continual improvement of these practice.
- Lead and develop the capability of others through effective coaching, mentoring, professional development and performance management.

**What you'll need to succeed**:

- Min 8-10 years’ experience in project and portfolio management
- Min 5 years’ experience in leadership roles and proven track record in leading high performing teams
- Ability to build, develop and lead a team with ability to build capabilities and build a supportive and collaborative team culture
- Strong knowledge of lean portfolio management practices, processes and governance
- Strong knowledge of the financial aspects of portfolio management
- Manages stakeholder’s expectations of deliverables, seeks ongoing feedback and exceeds expectations where possible
- Strong customer delivery
- Skilled ability to handle complexity and uncertainty
- Excellent presentation and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and conceptual thinking skills
- Skilled ability to contribute to and understand strategic perspectives, and translate to tactical actions
- Flexibility and resilience in responding to multiple changing priorities
- Systematic and disciplined approach to planning, organising, decision making and delegation
- Skilled ability to work in a dynamic leadership team, contributing to the overall goals of the group
- Skilled ability to perform synthesis and analysis working at the conceptual level
- Ability to build and manage strong connections and relationships with senior management and a range of stakeholders and business partners, both internal and external.
- Experience governing high-profiled projects within complex environments and under an Agile or Lean framework.
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex issues in concise and simple terms to a large range of audiences (especially management at Exec and CEO level), with confidence and in appropriate formats, both written and verbal.
