Our Sustainability and Resilience team is growing and as a result, we are looking for a Senior Professional to take forward our award-winning work on the National Climate Change Risk Assessment. We are currently working across numerous major programs to implement and facilitate ideas and tools to better understand sustainability and resilience challenges. We are using our skills and strengths to support clients to prosper when facing changing future climatic conditions. As Senior Professional in our Sustainability & Resilience team you will be involved in projects at local, regional, national, and international scales, looking at hazards, risk, vulnerability and resilience for both the public and private sectors. Our team takes a holistic view of the challenges facing our clients - an approach we have refined through involvement with major international programs such as 100 Resilient Cities (pioneered by The Rockefeller Foundation) and Resilient Reefs and more locally, the National Climate Change Risk Assessment.You will gain exposure to a wide range of professional services delivered by AECOM globally, as well as access to leading experts within our business both in New Zealand and internationally. Industry and technical engagement are encouraged and supported, enabling you to build your profile and practically show your expertise.
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**: We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and passionate about making a difference, to support our clients face the future with confidence.Appropriate tertiary qualification3 to 6+ years relevant sustainability and resilience experienceSolid foundation in understanding or analysis of client business practices and goals, developing and formulating solutions to clients on assigned projectsBroad technical knowledge and, a specific area of specialisation or focusProven success in client relationship management and business developmentEffective collaboration, organisation, negotiation, and team mentoring skillsDemonstrated experience in meeting project goals and deliverables in a timely and client focussed mannerStrong oral and written communication skills; report writing and development of proposals PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Post-Graduate Qualification(s)
