We are looking for a part-time Branch Support & Compliance Officer to join the team

Extraordinaire for our Whangarei office Monday to Friday - 25 hours per week.
Monday being your longest day of work and Friday being your shortest day of work.
Working to support the supervisors, managers and team members across the district, you will support the branch where needed in operations, administration/payroll data entry, store duties, and ensuing the branch’s KPI for compliance are on track each month.
**Your responsibilities may include, but not be limited to**:
- Supporting recruitment screening requirements and recruitment documents e.g. completion of company and site inductions, security clearances recorded and forwarded for follow-up where needed, employee documents forwarded to Head Office for onboarding of new employees.
- Training staff in induction - Various forms to be completed - Timesheets/Communications books etc.
- Maintaining monthly consumables/chemical stock levels in the branch, including ordering and storing under each location for each customer, ensuring receipt of inward/outward stock, and reporting anomalies to the relevant Branch manager and area administrator based in Head Office.
- Delivery of chemicals and consumables to clients’ sites as required.
- Keeping a log of goods and products issued to staff and supervisors/managers.
- Collating and entering staff's weekly timesheets into payroll spreadsheet within deadlines, ensuring leave entitlement is correct during payroll process.
- Supporting with general office and administration duties e.g. Answering phone, taking messages and issuing in a timely manner topping up coffee/tea/sugar, cleaning kitchen bench and washing of cloths etc, vehicle services are booked and maintained as per lease plans requirements, photocopying as requested, stores inventory and store distribution, contacting staff for replacement if required as instructed by managers, maintaining the office visitor sign in/out register.
- Maintaining the health & safety dashboard (Vault) and coordinating completion of compliance actions and documents e.g. incident investigations, corrective actions are completed, training refreshers, license renewals, new site risk assessments and reviews, contractor inductions, PLI and safety documentation, collate various inspections (branch premises, as applicable HSEQ processes).
- Maintaining an area compliance plan and providing accurate and timely reporting and recording of applicable operational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This may include monitoring an area risk dashboard and coordinating responses to ensure compliance.
The ideal individual for this role will have a mature approach to time management, proven success in working well with people at all levels, excellent skills in administration data entry and technology, timely and effective reporting skills, and a sense of responsibility to your own work on top of being an enthusiastic team player.
You will report directly to the Branch Manager.
**Work Schedule**:
- Monday - 6 hours a day - 9am start
- Tuesday to Thursday 5 hours per day - 9am
- Friday - 4 hours - 9am start
**Requirements**:
- Some flexibility in your work schedule (as some work may be required out of normal hours due to the requirement of the business).
- You will have a full driver’s license.
- You will have an eye for detail and be a fast learner.
