About the Role
As a Consultant in our Network team, you will work with the latest network technologies across a range of clients, providing consulting and project services to deliver best of breed solutions.
You will be working within a team of passionate, innovative and engaging people who focus on delivering network solutions that best fit our client’s requirements, whilst having fun along the way.

What you’ll do
- Capture and evaluate client needs and requirements and develop solutions to best fit those needs
- Provide project and consultancy services for both external and internal clients and be a key contact for clients
- Participate in technical pre-sales engagements and assist in the preparation of sales proposals and Statements of Work
- Develop and document high quality and innovative solutions and detailed designs covering a range of technologies, products and services
- Work with both client and internal teams to implement network and security solutions using multiple vendor technologies
- Perform trouble shooting tasks and work with other Datacom teams to resolve issues and implement improvements
- Take ownership of tasks, as well as assist the broader Network Services team leveraging your extensive knowledge

What you’ll bring
- Minimum of 5 years' experience across network consulting, projects and operations
- Demonstrated skills and experience in design and implementation involving routing and switching, wireless and firewall/security solutions
- Excellent relationship building, interpersonal and management skills working with external and internal clients
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to talk to clients and stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to lead technical work streams and organise changes in collaboration with the wider team
- Proficient with Cisco and Fortinet technology (essential). Knowledge across other vendors and technologies including F5, Aruba, Palo Alto and public cloud is advantageous
- Certifications may include Cisco CCNP, Fortinet NSE4/5/7, Palo Alto PCNSE, Aruba ACSA/ACSP, F5 201/301 or equivalent technical qualifications
- Tertiary level qualification in Computer Science, Technology or a related discipline (desirable)
