**About the role**
Bring your passion for water safety and exceptional customer service skills and make a real difference in our community by teaching adults and children how to have fun and be safe in the water.
From the positive change we see in our community, right through to the continued growth of our region, we're working together to make a difference to the lives of so many people.
And right now, we have a great opportunity for you to be a part of that difference - we're looking for Learn to Swim Instructors to join our team. Minimum hours of work per week for all roles is 4.5 hours and maximum is 20 hours. We are seeking people to teach the following groups:
**Aquatots**:
Aquatots swimming lessons help babies and toddlers learn water confidence and safety in a fun environment. You'll join parents and children in the pool to developing essential water skills, at their pace through songs and fun activities.
The shifts are variable rostered hours between:
- 9am - 2pm Monday - Friday
- 8am - 12.15pm, 1pm - 4.15pm Saturday and Sunday.
You must be available to work one shift on the weekend.
**Preschool**:
You will be teaching young children learn water confidence and safety skills in a fun environment, building strong foundations for confident swimming
The shifts are variable rostered hours between:
- 9am - 2pm Monday - Friday
- 3.15pm - 6pm Monday - Friday
- 8am - 12.15pm, 1pm - 4.15pm Saturday and Sunday.
**School Age**:
School age swimming lessons help children learn water confidence and safety skills in a fun environment, building strong foundations for confident swimming.
The shifts are variable rostered hours between:
- 3.15pm - 6pm Monday - Friday
- 8am - 12.15pm, 1pm - 4.15pm Saturday and Sunday.
Please note, you must be available to work at least one shift on the weekend if you are interested in Aquatots, Preschool and School Age teaching.
**Adults**:
These classes are for people who haven't swum before or are looking to develop their swimming technique.
The shifts would be variable rostered hours between:
- 5.30pm - 8 pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
- 8am - 12.15pm Saturday
