**Technical Property Specialist**

This role will support the Technical Property Services team and wider PMO, Strategic Programmes and Property Group to enable the achievement of group objectives and provide world class service.

**About the role**

As a Technical Property Specialist, you will provide high quality technical property advice on matters relating to the road corridor to Auckland Transport's internal teams, CCOs and the public.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Recommending appropriate courses of action on private use of the road corridor.
(a) airspace, surface and subsoil encroachment licences;
(b) removal of building line restrictions;
(c) limitation as to parcel consents; and

(d) road stopping.

**What we are looking for**
- Professionals who are proactive, outcome driven and who can contribute to the diverse thinking of the team.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in property work.
- You will ideally have experience in leasing, licensing and conveyancing underpinned by a relevant qualification in property, law or planning.
- Experience in a front facing customer role dealing with the public.
- Legal training and experience working with the Local Government Act 1974 and Public Works Act 1981 is desirable.
- Experience with Landonline and knowledge of searching records of title, encumbrances and other registered interests.
