To achieve that, we are looking for an experienced learning and development resource to drive training strategy, oversee its implementation and assess its outcomes for the Aderant Engineering and Product Management teams - our software development business line. This global role will work with key stakeholders across the team to identify training and developmental needs, conduct effective onboarding, drive training initiatives that build skills (soft, technical, product and business acumen related), and deliver training content.
You’ll be part of a team reporting to the Director of Global Training and Development to design, execute and measure training initiatives both specific to your team and to drive towards corporate goals.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide a warm welcome for new hires by conducting effective onboarding and orientation sessions
- Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, skills assessments/tracking, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with managers
- Provide opportunities for ongoing development
- Create bespoke training as necessary
- Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices
- Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them
- Build, foster, and maintain a strong partner relationship with all dev leaders to better understand core competencies as well as training needs

**Requirements**:

- Proven work experience in a training capacity; 3-5 years preferred
- Experience teaching technical concepts and familiarity with database principles and software development lifecycle (Agile, DevOps, SQL, Cloud (AWS/Azure), Automation (Selenium), Frontend and Backend tech)
- Track record in designing and executing successful training programs in geographically dispersed environment
- Adept at building strong relationships across a diverse group of people and possess indirect influencing skills to drive results.
- Strong organizational, planning, project management, multi-tasking, problem resolution, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills required.
- Self-starter with strong sense of ownership and ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
- Comfort reaching across team boundaries to collaborate and build relationships

**Working for Us**

You’ll be working in a product family, which is a close, cross functional team focused on a particular domain, for example the billing process. The team is a mix of engineers, business analysts, a product manager and technical writers who are tended to by a team lead. A prioritized backlog drives the goals of the team and work is carried out in small increments. The team owns the product delivery including test automation, performance optimization, reliability engineering, telemetry and customization support.
