Auckland City, New Zealand Emerge Aotearoa Full time

**He kōrero mō mātou | About Us**

Emerge Aotearoa is a committed Tangata Tiriti organisation and a national provider of mental health, addiction, disability, offender rehabilitation, well-being, and housing services. The core values of the organisation are based on Māori concepts Whakawhanaunga, Manaakitanga, Ako and Whakamana.

**He kōrero mō te tūranga | The Role**

You'll provide support to our Group Chief Executive. In this dynamic role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting day-to-day activities. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, including but not limited to scheduling, planning, event organization, travel booking, reporting and communication preparation. There will be plenty of variety in your day and challenges and opportunities for you to coordinate and manage.

A normal day could look like scheduling and extensive planning for the day/week/month, organising events, booking travel, handling of sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality, preparing communications and collating information. Of course you will be attuned to evolving needs and the shifting priorities of an Executive. The role will be based at our Henderson hub in Auckland for the duration of this one-year fixed-term contract covering maternity leave.

**He kōrero mōu | About You**

We are seeking an individual with strong people skills, experience as an executive assistant, a great sense of humour, and a commitment to professionalism and confidentiality. Preferably, you will have had some experience supporting a Chief Executive. You'll be ambitious, adaptable, driven and passionate about getting things done. You will be excited to work for a purposeful organisation and see the positive results we achieve in the work we do. Your energy, organizational skills, and technological proficiency will set you apart, in addition you will have:

- Brilliant organising skills
- Experience developing and managing reporting
- Lots of energy and enthusiasm
- High level of communication - both written and verbal

You'll develop a reputation for using your initiative, anticipating needs and continuously looking for ways to improve the mahi we do

Our team culture is very important to us. We build each other up, support one another and celebrate each other's success both personally and professionally. We love to have fun, drink coffee and laugh a lot - the conversation ranges from food and whānau, to travel and fitness.

**Ko tā mātou mahi | We offer**

In addition to being a key support to our Group Executive, you will be doing so in a national organisation with opportunities for you to grow and develop. You'll join a group of people that live by our values - which means you can take pride in not just what we achieve, but HOW we achieve it.

Importantly, we advocate for your wellbeing With three days of wellbeing leave on offer, and a flexible working environment, you can proactively manage your health and wellbeing.

AND finally, you'll want to work here because we are committed to diversity and inclusion. Come as you are, and just be YOU
