This is a full-time and senior position for an experienced and qualified Quality, Health Safety and Environmental (QHSE) Management Systems Lead Auditor and the applicant **must** have prior experience as a Lead Management Systems Auditor auditing for a third-party Certification Agency.

As a Management Systems Lead Auditor with SGS Business Assurance you will plan and perform third-party audits in accordance with SGS Certification policies, procedures and undertake an assessment the requirements of standards. The Management Systems Lead Auditor is responsible to make relevant decisions concerning the audit process and provide a recommendation for certification.

**The key roles and responsibilities of this position include**:

- Maintaining your qualifications and recognition as a Management Systems Lead Auditor in multiple management systems standards (i.e. ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Conduct integrated Management Systems certification audits across a wide range of industry sector codes.
- Undertake management system assessments in accordance with SGS accreditation policies, procedures, and management systems requirements.
- Collate audit / assessment findings, prepare reports and communicate findings to clients
- Provide an assessment decision and clearly communicate corrective action requirements, where appropriate.

**Qualifications**
- ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 (QHSE) Management Systems Lead Auditor status with previous experience as a Lead Auditor for a recognised Certification Agency
- Qualified with an Accredited Management Systems Certification Body as a Lead Auditor, Practical experience in conducting third-party (Certification) audits and second-party audits is essential across a wide range and number of industry sector codes is a requirement for this position
- Current or previous recognition as Lead (Certification) Auditor with SGS, as a Staff Auditor or Contract Auditor would be advantageous
- Lead Auditor recognition in other standards, such as IS0 27001 (ISMS), MDAP and/or other accredited programs would be advantageous however is not essential.
- Successfully completed an IRCA or equivalent recognised Lead Auditor Course
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Current and full driver’s licence

This role involves extensive travel to Client sites throughout NZ and on occasion to Australia and the Pacific Islands, so the Applicant must be willing to travel.
