**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

The primary purpose of this role is to produce effective communications which enable our people to feel connected, inspired and engaged in our important mahi. Create engaging communications across our internal communications channels. Provide communication support internal events, projects and campaigns and triage communication requests and queries.

This is a full time, four month fixed term contract.

We're looking for a talented individual to join our team and play a crucial role in our organisation. You will establish and maintain positive working relationships with people at all levels within the organisation and have the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.

- A relevant graduate qualification.
- Experience in an internal communication role.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- A good understanding of plain language requirements.
- Demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of a broad range of internal and community communication practices, tools and techniques including digital.
